A full-day adrenaline-and-nature combo through the Taurus Mountains to Tazı Canyon — the 'Grand Canyon of Turkey' — a 400-metre-deep gorge carved by the Köprüçay River into the pine-cloaked mountains above Manavgat. Bounce along forest tracks in an open 4x4 with wind in your hair, stop at the eagle-eye viewpoint where the canyon drops sheer to green rapids far below, then descend to the river for a refreshing swim and a riverside trout lunch. Along the way we visit a nomad Yörük village for herbal tea, cross the Roman Oluk Bridge still spanning the Köprüçay after 1,800 years, and pass Selge, a Pisidian ruin where mountain goats graze among 2,000-year-old columns. Is this tour dangerous?+
No — jeeps are driven by experienced local drivers on established forest tracks. The canyon viewpoint has a natural fence but keep children close.
Can I combine this with rafting?+

Is lunch really included?+
Yes, a full riverside trout lunch is included. Vegetarian, vegan and children's options available on request.
What should I bring?+
Swimwear and towel, sunscreen, hat, closed shoes for the canyon rim, small backpack. The jeep is open — sunglasses recommended.
Is it suitable for children?+
Age 6+ recommended. Younger children may find the bumpy off-road section uncomfortable.
Does it run in winter?+
October–April the forest tracks can be muddy but the tour still runs when weather permits. December–February we swap the swim for a canyon hike.

Bumpy, dusty, and brilliant fun. Off-road jeep to Tazı Canyon, viewpoint drops 400m straight down — genuinely gasp-inducing. Village lunch was rustic and delicious. Optional zip-line and rafting add-ons at the river stop. Wear clothes you don't mind ruining.
